Capturing a hummingbird perched amongst a bloom of roses, this unique wall art showcases all the wild beauty of the natural world. With flowers that blossom out to create a three-dimensional sculpture, each piece of indigenous wall art has been hand crafted by the extraordinary talents of Haitian artists.
 
This particular piece was crafted by Junior Ellesaint in the village of Croix-des-Bouquets where every day the artist’s hammers create a mesmerising music. Inspired by the richness of Haitian culture, nature and the island’s magical spirit, each metal sculpture begins as a pattern traced onto recycled oil drums, then are cut and decorated with chisels, and smoothed and shaped with hammers.
 
Each art piece is finished by hand and coated with a weather-resistant varnish for display either indoors and out.
