Papel picado (Spanish ‘cut paper’) is the name for the multicoloured Mexican party decorations that trace their history back to pre-Hispanic Mexico. These beautifully intricate designs, images and patterns represent the element of the wind and evoke a sense of awe and enchantment at every celebration.
 
Our traditional papel picado are handmade in Mexico and come in two varieties: tissue paper for indoors and plastic for outdoors. This style comes in six repeated colourways (red, pink, green, blue, orange and turquoise) strung from a single cord.
